(Open) Home Care Companion/Sitter Summary: Provide companionship, supervision, and basic assistance to clients in their homes while promoting their safety, independence, and quality of life. Key Responsibilities: - Offer companionship through conversation, reading, and recreational activities - Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation - Remind clients to take prescribed medications (no medication administration) - Provide transportation to appointments and social activities - Monitor client safety and report changes in condition to supervisor - Document provided services and client status Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Valid driver's license and clean driving record - Basic First Aid and CPR certification - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Physical ability to assist clients with mobility - Reliable transportation - Criminal background check clearance Schedule: Flexible scheduling available, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
